Who you are contracting with
These terms govern your use of CFS News (Climate, Finance and Sustainability News), operated by Sahil Priyadarshi, trading as CFS Global, based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (the “Seller”). By accessing or continuing to use the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should stop using the site.
Our order process and Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. For payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics, see Paddle’s Buyer Terms.
Your account
To subscribe you must create an account and provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us promptly.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the site. This includes unlawful use, fraud or spam, infringing intellectual property, interfering with security (malware, probing or scraping), and any attempt to bypass access controls, metering or payment. You may not resell, redistribute or republish subscription content without written permission.
Subscriptions and billing
Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly through Paddle in your local currency. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of your paid period. Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated. Fees, taxes and invoicing are handled by Paddle.
Intellectual property
The Seller retains ownership of the site and its content, including articles, summaries, branding and software, except where an original source is named and linked. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to view content for personal, non-commercial use while your subscription is active.
No warranty of service level
The site is provided “as is”. The Seller does not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any news, listing or dataset is complete or current. All implied warranties are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Seller’s aggregate liability for any claim arising from the site is limited to the fees you paid in the six months before the claim. The Seller is not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing excludes liability for fraud or for matters that cannot be excluded by law.
Suspension and termination
The Seller may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination, your right to view content ends, though data you supplied to contact the desk may be retained for a reasonable period.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
